Kitchen-table sessions
No agenda sent in advance and no slides. You put the pile on the table and we work through it in whatever order it makes sense to you.
Three of the five is plenty. We have started with less and finished the session with something useful.
The first half hour is you talking and us not writing much. Then we take the subject that is costing you the most and work it properly, which usually means we get through two of the three rather than all of them.
You keep the notes. They are handwritten on the day, not typed up afterwards and emailed a week later when the urgency has gone.
If something comes up that needs a proper piece of work — an application, an appraisal, a planning day — we quote it there and then at the fixed price. There is no upsell in the room.
Anything inside forty miles of Shrewsbury is on the standard fee: that takes in most of Shropshire, Ludlow, Oswestry, Church Stretton and over the border as far as Welshpool. Past that we add 45p a mile and tell you the figure before you commit.
Paid after the visit, on an invoice due in fourteen days. The first phone call, the one where we work out whether a session is worth booking at all, costs nothing.
