Small print

No analytics, no advertising, no social buttons, no visitor counter. One entry goes into your browser and it records a single thing: your answer to the notice in the corner.
It is called cookie-choice, it lives in local storage and it holds either all or min. Strictly speaking it is not a cookie and it never travels to us: it stays on your device so the notice stops asking. Storage of that kind is exempt from the consent requirement under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because without it the notice could not work.
Every picture on the site is loaded from images.unsplash.com rather than from our own server. Your browser opens a connection there, and Unsplash sees your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for. We chose not to host the images ourselves, and it seems fair that you should know what that means.
Poppins and Open Sans are served by fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Again the IP address reaches the provider so the file can be delivered. No Google cookie is set and nothing about you comes back to us.
We store min instead of all and the notice stops appearing. The fonts still load, because without them the pages become hard to read; if you would rather block them, every browser has a setting for external fonts.
The machine hosting the site records each request with an IP address, a timestamp and the page. That is how a fault or an intrusion attempt would be traced. Logs are overwritten after thirty days and are never matched against an email you sent us.
Open the site data settings in your browser, find tallsgrask.live and remove it. On an iPhone that is Settings, Safari, Advanced, Website Data. The notice returns on your next visit and nothing else is lost.
