Diversification maths
Everyone gets shown the gross figure. The useful number is what is left after the access track, the water, the rates and the hours it takes off your week.
Payback around three years, which is why everyone starts here. What the quotes leave out: the track has to take a car in February, and three pods is the point where you stop doing changeovers yourself.
Between five and six years, and the wage is what does it. A shop open six days needs somebody who is not you, and that line above is the whole argument. It works where there is passing trade you can count rather than hope for.
Just over five years and almost no work once it is let. The lowest ceiling of the three and the one nobody writes an article about, which is precisely why it is often the right answer.
